A FEW WORDS ABOUT MYSELF
An anonymous face in the multitude, free to probe my surroundings for clues and hints that may go unnoticed by others. A typical flâneur...Combining the casual eye of the stroller with the purposeful gaze of the detective.

FAVORITE MOMENT IN ATHENS
I have my favorite place in the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. It is not central, as someone would expect. I sit always at the left of the stage, at the upper tier. From there I can admire both Parthenon, the masterpiece of classical world, and the actors that play at the ancient stage below me. This is the most sensual and intellectual expericence in Athens. Simply overwhelming.
This was the best tour of Athens we could have possibly hoped for. It was truly a pleasure and an education to meet Alex and enjoy his wisdom, knowledge and passion for the city and for Greek history. This has been the highlight of our trip so far and we feel so lucky to have had such a wonderful tour guide. We are still completely surprised that this was all for free and that we had to persuade him to allow us to buy him an orange juice. What an amazing advertisement for the city! As an expert archaeologist it was fantastic to spent time with Alex because he just knew so much about the history of Athens and spoke so passionately about Greece - past and present. He surprised us with is in-depth knowledge of our countries also (Ireland and Scotland). By the end we really felt like we had a new friend and an excellent insight into this great city and country. I cannot recommend this tour and tour guide more. With young people like this to showcase it then Greece is in strong hands and has a very bright future. Thank you Athens and thank you Alex!
Visited Athens and had a tour with ALEXANDROS A. in October 11, 2015
